Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to order from a venue on Ospitera and to run a venue with it. We design our storefronts, checkout, venue admin and this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, the level the European standard EN 301 549 refers to.

How the storefront works for you

Menus and checkout are plain web pages: they work with screen readers, keyboard only and browser zoom, and need no app or account.

Buttons carry text labels, including the item name on add and customise buttons; prices, options and allergens are written out, not shown by colour or icon alone.

Where the venue offers it, you can pay at pickup or delivery instead of online; the checkout shows which ways to pay each venue accepts.

Status and known limitations

This statement is our own assessment; the service has not yet been audited by an independent party. We consider it partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA while that check is outstanding.

Photos, item names and descriptions are written by each venue. We ask venues to keep them accessible, but cannot check every one.

Drawing a custom delivery area on the map in the venue admin needs a mouse or touch screen. Setting a delivery radius works by keyboard; if you need a custom area and can't draw it, write to us and we set it for you.

Feedback

If something doesn't work for you, write to support@ospitera.com, saying the page and what went wrong. We reply within 5 working days and, where we can, offer another way to get what you need while we fix it.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the authority that supervises accessibility of services in your country. In Belgium this is the FPS Economy (economie.fgov.be).
